Back To The Future II’s 'Pepsi Perfect' is actually being made
By TIM G. VILLASOR

GREAT SCOTT! It looks like one of Back to the Future’s signature “future products” is making it to this day and century, as Pepsi has officially announced that it is releasing “Pepsi Perfect” —the future version of Pepsi that Michael J. Fox's character Marty McFly orders when he travels to Future Hill Valley in Back To The Future II!
According to E! Online, Pepsi will be releasing the glorious beverage – essentially regular Pepsi in new packaging, at a $21 price tag—in time for October 21, 2015, the date when Marty, Jennifer, and Doc Brown arrive in the future.
“The Future Is Now,” Pepsi proclaims in a special television spot that does due homage to Back To The Future II's hovering cars and talking robots.
According to Pepsi Co., only 6, 500 bottles will be made available for purchase online, which means that Back to the Future fans and collectors will find this item as valuable as a 1950-2000 Grays Sports Almanac.
The Pepsi Perfect drink will also come packaged with its own collector’s case, adding more incentive for those who just want to display the drink and not touch it at all.
Another way Pepsi is distributing this iconic beverage is through this month’s New York Comic Con, where the first 200 participants dressed as Marty McFly will be receiving Pepsi Perfects absolutely FREE.
That’s pretty cool if you happen to be in New York City, so better find those jump suits and self-lacing Nike shoes to dress up as Marty and attend the con if you want this collector’s item. For more information, visit the official Pepsi website for details (http://www.pepsi.com/en-us/).
Celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year, Robert Zemeckis' and Steven Spielberg's Back to the Future trilogy revolutionized Sci-Fi and adventure with the time-bending exploits of “Doc” Emmett Brown and Marty McFly.
A new Blu-Ray 30th Anniversary release is slated to arrive on October 21st this year, with new features that include Christopher Lloyd reprising his role as the Doc in “Doc Brown Saves The World”.
