Godzilla Resurgence photos show legendary Japanese monster’s new look
More than a decade since he last appeared in the 2004 film “Godzilla: Final Wars”, Japanese film studio TOHO is ready to bring back the “King of Monsters” with a complete makeover as new photos have surfaced showing a new and terrifying looking Godzilla that’s set to bring destruction and chaos in cinemas this 2016.
Twitter user @CooperCastille and ComicBook.com revealed new images of a creepy-looking Godzilla, who is far more monstrous and predator-like than the redesign used in Warner Bros.' and Legendary Pictures’ 2014 “Godzilla” film.

The new film will be directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi, who have both previously collaborated on the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. Higuchi also directed the live-action Attack on Titan films, so this is a monumental comeback in the making for one of Japan’s popculture icons.
