Apple's Liam video may have revealed the next iPhone

Just right after Apple Inc. released its latest addition to the iPhone family, a video sparked theories of how the next generation iPhone would look like.

A report on AppleInsider seemingly gave fanatics a hint of what the iPhone 7 would look like in a promotional video for Liam, a robotic arm that can disassemble unused and broken Apple devices and sort their parts for recycling.

The video shows a handset with an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s design. Looking closely, one can see that the device does not have the camera bump of the latest iPhones.

According to rumors, the iPhone 7 will have a flat back with no camera bump. However, people from AppleInsider believe that the tech company would not spill the beans about a device months ahead of the official launch.

This is not the first time when fanatics conjured up new Apple products based on speculations. Last December, for instance, fans speculated that the company would release a 15-inch ultra thin MacBook spotted in the “60 Minutes” feature film.

Fans also speculated that the “Let’s loop you in” tagline used for the launching of iPhone SE means something. In the end, not much was meant by the tagline.

For those who could not wait to get their hands on the next generation iPhone, they can, for the meantime, enjoy the revamped version of the iPhone 5s they call the iPhone SE. —Kiersnerr Gerwin Tacadena/KG, GMA News
