LARA CROFT RETURNS TO PS4

‘Endurance Mode’ and more new content in ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary Edition’

After an exclusive release for Microsoft's Xbox One in 2015 and an eventual PC version made available in January 2016, Playstation users are finally going to see the next adventure of Lara Croft by Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix, as "Rise of the Tomb Raider" finally comes to the PS4 in a brand new release tagged the “20th Anniversary Edition.”

Xbox One and PC versions of the anniversary edition have also been announced.

Packed with new modes and bonus features, "Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary Edition" will include the full game and sequel to the 2013 “Tomb Raider” reboot. The new story sees Lara on a new adventure in Siberia searching for the lost city of Kitezh, where the secret to immortality is said to be found.

Battling mercenaries and facing all kinds of dangers (both environmental and man-made), the game is presented in third-person perspective and makes use of action-adventure elements, puzzle solving, crafting weapons, and quick time event sequences.

In addition to all of the previous downloadable content (DLC) and modes released in the previous versions for Xbox One and PC, the 20th Anniversary Edition is getting a new DLC mission called “Blood Ties”, which is compatible with the upcoming Playstation VR peripheral Sony is releasing later this year.

A new co-op “Endurance Mode” will also be included, as well as new costumes for Lara that highlight the Tomb Raider franchise’s 20 year history, including a re-inspired version of her Tomb Raider III cold weather outfit and a “Classic Lara” card pack that allows players to use old character models of Miss Croft from previous games in “Expedition Modes”.
