Wargods Rebirth to represent PHL in Special Force 2 World Championship

Filipino eSports team Wargods Rebirth will be flying to Taipei, Taiwan, to represent the country in the “Special Force 2” World Championship, where they will face the best teams from USA, Europe, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan.

The championship will be held from August 26 to 29.

Playpark All-Stars 2016, which took place on July 17 at Skydome in SM City North Edsa, was a huge event that saw the launch of “Kritika Online” and “Zone 4.” It was also at this event that the country’s best “Special Force 2” teams fought in the “Special Force 2” Road to Taiwan Championship.

After rising to the top of a “Special Force 2” league, Wargods Rebirth found themselves sharing the limelight with fellow league toppers Team Secret, Imperium eStraw, and Frostbyte Hellogangster at the event. Wargods Rebirth bested Imperium eStraw in the Semis, then defeated Team Secret in the Finals to be crowned the Philippine’s first “Special Force 2” Ultimatum 2016 champion.

Team Wargods Rebirth consists of team captain Kevin “(CG)ShwiQui”; team Sniper John Moxie “(V)-xYz-(V)”; Entry Fraggers Rhomz “IMPRESS1IVE-” and Ranielle “PROG[R]ESSIVE-”; and team Support and Assault Levin “_Lev”.
