Details about new season of ‘The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series’ revealed
Fans of Telltale Games and their critically acclaimed and emotional point and click adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s “The Walking Dead” were pleased to learn that the series will finally return this year after a teaser trailer was introduced at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
The new season is set years after the end of the second season, with lead Clementine returning. Now new details have emerged, with the game set for a release later this fall.
Titled “The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier”, the series picks up four years after the outbreak, with Clementine already in her teens. Players will be introduced to a new survivor, Javier.
Players will be taking control of both Javier and Clementine, who is now a full-fledged, hardened survivor coming from her experiences in the first two games. Javier himself has his own mission in life, and that’s to protect his family from the dangers of the new world brought by the undead apocalypse. When these two protagonists meet, players will see through the eyes of Javier how Clem has changed, and will undergo the same difficult decision-making process to proceed through a story of their own making that has become a trademark of Telltale’s games.
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier will be released for the video game platforms such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and mobile devices using OSX and Android in November. — BM, GMA News
