Batman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash stand together in new promo photo

As 2016 begins to close and a lot look forward to the new year, Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder are hard at work preparing fans for their inevitable gathering of the world’s greatest heroes into one movie as post-production work on “Justice League” goes on.

To help promote the film, Entertainment Weekly has released a brand new photo for the movie that shows Ezra Miller’s Flash, Ben Affleck’s Batman, and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman standing together and looking ready to face whatever comes their way. “I’m super happy with the chemistry of my league of justice doers,” says Snyder in the EW report, which goes on to report that the team-up will be rocky from the start before it becomes a solid foundation.

According to Miller, who plays The Fastest Man Alive and his civilian alter ego Barry Allen, The Flash is a character that tries to act funny in order to fit in with his heroic peers. “Flash is Ringo Starr,” Miller says. “He annoys everybody, but doesn’t have any specific beef with anyone.” In fact, the first trailer for Justice League released by Snyder during this year’s San Diego Comic Con depicts the Scarlet Speedster as a willing candidate who immediately accepts Bruce Wayne/ Batman’s invitation to join the team after he visits Barry’s secret headquarters.

On the other hand, Batman and Wonder Woman are the ones actively working together and recruiting new members for their cause to combat a great threat coming to Earth. After Superman’s selfless sacrifice at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight is inspired to put together a team of metahumans to help defend humanity and keep the peace. We’ll find out soon enough if they can work together when Justice League hits theaters on November 2017. — TJD, GMA News
