Mindboggling Get Even game coming this May

First-person shooter and psychological thriller “Get Even” will be released on May 26, 2017 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC digital, according to publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer The Farm 51.

A new trailer was released alongside the announcement.

“Get Even” has players assuming the role of Cole Black, a man who wakes up in an old abandoned asylum. To make matters worse, his sole memory is that of his attempt to save a teenage girl, onto whose body has been strapped a bomb.

Attached to Cole Black’s head is an unusual high-tech piece of equipment which can read and replay memories. As Cole Black, the player must use this technology to travel into his mind’s depths, and solve the mystery of his current predicament.

Aside from these details, not much else is known about the game. From the trailers, it does seem “Get Even” will have you shooting a variety of guns, exploring creepy locations, and solving puzzles. Its surrealistic atmosphere brings to mind psychological survival horror games such as “Silent Hill.”
