Probius the StarCraft probe is Heroes of the Storm's next Hero

Blizzard’s “Heroes of the Storm” is getting another “StarCraft” Hero, and this time, it’s… a probe?

Probius is a cute widdle protoss worker unit from the “StarCraft” games. According to his official description, he’s “the bravest of probes” who’s been wanting to prove himself since his activation.

Probius’ skillset should look familiar to anyone who’s played “StarCraft.” As a probe, he can warp in pylons and defensive structures, create energy barriers, and even attack targets with a disruption pulse.

He already has a Hero page, which describes Probius as a highly complex, highly damaging Ranged Specialist. It also lists his Trait, Primary Abilities, and Heroic Abilities. You can view said Hero page here.

The following video also shows off his abilities and skins, as well as gives us a look at the new Elemental Stag mount and its various incarnations.

It probably won’t be long before Probius is officially released, but you can already take him for a spin on the “Heroes of the Storm” public test realm this March 6.

Blizzard has been consist in their support of “Heroes of the Storm” since its launch in 2015, with every couple of weeks seeing the introduction of a new Hero. The game already features a multitude of Heroes from the company’s various franchises, including “StarCraft,” “Overwatch,” “Diablo,” and “Warcraft.” Just a few weeks ago, we were treated to a new “Overwatch” character, Lucio. — TJD, GMA News
