Ariana Grande returns to Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
“Final Fantasy Brave Exvius” is about to get a whole lot dangerous again, as Ariana Grande is returning to the popular mobile RPG for an entire week this April.
Dangerous Ariana, the character inspired by the chart-topping songstress, will be part of a special event running from April 14 to April 20, 2017.
The official synopsis for the in-game event reads:
“A beautiful singer has appeared to hold a concert in hopes of spreading love and peace throughout the realm with her songs.
“However, a resentful spirit who once lost her wonderful voice becomes jealous of the shining artist and decides to ruin her performance. As countless monsters start appearing and attacking the audience without warning, disruption and distress overcome what had been meant as an entertaining event.
“Now it is up to Rain and his friends to help the singer achieve her goals by vanquishing those foes together.”
The update, known as Dangerous Woman Tour, allows players to recruit the heroine by completing its special event stage on Easy difficulty. Like other summoned units, Dangerous Ariana grows in power as she levels up, and can become a 6-star character.

Players can also acquire equipment designed specifically for the character, which she can employ in combat. Examples of such items include a Microphone, which raises her attack and magic; the Evening Glove, which raises her defense and spirit; and the Bunny Mask, which enhances her defense and magic.
In addition, an ELT (elite) stage is now available to provide an extra challenge to veteran players.

The real-world Dangerous Woman Tour
During this period, a Facebook campaign will also offer players in-game rewards, as well as the chance to win VIP tickets to the actual Ariana Grande Dangerous Woman Tour, set to take place on June 7, 2017, in Paris.
All players have to do is take a great screenshot of their party doing battle with the Ariana dungeon boss, Resentful Noise Spirit, then post said screenshot on the “Final Fantasy Brave Exvius” Facebook Page event thread. The screenshot should be accompanied by the uploader’s Player ID, and a brief write-up explaining how much they like the game and Ariana Grande. Two players will then be randomly picked to go to the concert.

Earlier this year, Square Enix Ltd. and game developer Gumi Inc. announced their collaboration with American singer and actress Ariana Grande. The timed event itself ran from January 19 to February 2.
“It is an honor for my Pixel Art character and for my music to be included in the new ‘Final Fantasy Brave Exvius’ game, a mainstay in the Japanese pop culture, which I absolutely adore,” Ariana Grande said of the collaboration.
In addition to the special event, “Final Fantasy Brave Exvius” received a host of major changes – courtesy of the Version 2.0 update – such as quality of life improvements, summoning system enhancements, and meaty additions to the story and character roster. The game was recently updated to Version 2.1.1.
Everything new with the game, including the Dangerous Ariana update and the concert tickets giveaway, is discussed in detail here.
