Long queues mark global launch of iPhone X

People across the globe flocked to Apple stores on Friday and lined up to get their hands on the new iPhone X. 

Hundreds queued outside official stores in Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney.

Apple on September unveiled the latest  top-of-line handset along with iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus last September.

Apple chief executive Tim Cook hailed the iPhone X as its "biggest leap foward" since the release of the original iPhone a decade ago. — with reports from Reuters / AT, GMA News
