The user interface has been redesigned to help players keep track of their character's advanced statistics.
The stash is now bigger—from 6x8 grid to now 10x10 grid—and a shared stash tab helps a player transfer items between multiple characters on a single Battle.net account.
With the new cross-progression feature, players can access their character across different platforms while retaining levels, quests, and skills.
A new exclusive ladder system will also be implemented and cooperative gameplay still supports up to eight players.
Sequel to Diablo released in 1997, Diablo II was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and first released in 2000. An expansion pack, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, was released in 2001.
Diablo III, the sequel to Diablo II, was released in 2012. Another sequel, Diablo IV, was announced in 2019.
