Overcast weather forecast for Metro Manila

The northeast monsoon or Amihan will continue to affect Luzon and the Visayas on Thursday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, and eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and of the Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought about by the northeast monsoon.

Mindanao, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. The weather bureau warns that flash floods may occur in the region during severe thunderstorms.

The eastern sections of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao will have strong winds coming from northeast to east while coastal waters will be rough.

The rest of the country will have moderate to strong winds in the northeast to east direction with moderate to rough coastal waters. — BAP, GMA News
