Isolated light rains expected in Metro Manila

The northeast monsoon will continue to affect Luzon and Visayas on Thursday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila, Visayas, and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms. Flashfloods may occur during severe thunderstorms, the weather bureau warned.

The eastern section of southern Luzon and the Visayas will have strong winds coming in the northeast direction while coastal water condition would be rough.

Northern Luzon and the eastern section of central Luzon and Mindanao will have moderate to strong winds moving northeast to east while coastal water conditions would be moderate to rough.

The forecast wind for the rest of the country would be moderate moving northeastward with moderate coastal water conditions. — BAP, GMA News
