Easterlies prevail over PHL; cloudy in many areas
Most parts of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies on Saturday as the easterlies, the winds blowing from east to west, prevail.
In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas and the Bicol Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Flash floods are possible during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA said.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy skies.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds will cause coastal waters in the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao to be moderate to occasionally rough.
In Northern and Central Luzon and the rest of the country, meanwhile, winds will be light to moderate, causing coastal waters to be slight to moderate.
PAGASA said the maximum temperature on Friday reached 34.2°C at 2:50 p.m.
