Fair weather due to easterlies in most of PHL


The easterlies continue to affect southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Bicol Region, the Visayas, and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies or amihan.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods may occur, the weather bureau said, during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed for Luzon is light to moderate moving east to southeast while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.

For the Visayas and Mindanao, wind speed is light to moderate moving east to northeast while coastal water conditions are expected to be slight to moderate.
