Cloudy skies, isolated rainshowers in most of PHL


The Frontal system will be affecting extreme northern Luzon while the easterlies will be affecting southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA reported early Thursday morning.

The weather forecast for Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands is cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm due to the frontal system.

For the Bicol Region, the Visayas, and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

The public is warned that flash floods are possible during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed for extreme northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving in the northeast direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Northern and central Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving southeast to south while coastal waters are slight to moderate.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speed moving east to northeast while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
