Metro Manila will have cloudy skies, isolated rainshowers


The provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Apayao, Batanes, Cagayan including the Babuyan Group of Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms brought about by the frontal system that is affecting northern Luzon, PAGASA reported on early Friday morning.

Eastern Visayas, Palawan, Mindoro provinces will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the Intertropical Convergence Zone.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms.

The weather bureau warned that flash floods and landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed for the entire country is light to moderate moving towards east to southeast direction while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.
