Cloudy skies, rainshowers in Mindanao due to ITCZ
An Intertropical Convergence zone will be affecting Mindanao on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning weather forecast.
Mindanao will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ.
Palawan, on the other hand, will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms due to southwest monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods and landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms, the weather bureau warned.
The forecast wind speed in the western section of Luzon will be moderate and moving southwest to south direction while coastal water conditions will be moderate.
For the rest of the country, wind speed will be light to moderate moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
