LPA to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains to Cagayan Valley, CAR, Ilocos Norte
A low pressure area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies and scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms to Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Norte on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Flash floods or landslides may occur during occasional heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may also occur during severe thunderstorms.
As of 3 a.m., the LPA was located at 50 km east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan or 215 km north northeast of Baler, Aurora.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the northern section of Luzon, with waves ranging from 1.2 to 2.8 meters.
Sea conditions in Visayas, the rest of Luzon and Mindanao meanwhile, will be slight to moderate.
