Isolated rainshowers expected over Metro Manila
The northeasterly surface windflow will continue to prevail over Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm due to the northwesterly and southwesterly winds convergence.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms, the weather bureau warned.
The forecast wind speed for northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon is strong moving northeast to north while coastal waters will be rough.
In the Visayas and the rest of Luzon, forecast wind speed is light to moderate moving in the northeast to northwest direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate
In Mindanao, the forecast wind speed is light to moderate moving in the northwest to southwest direction while costal waters will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
