Good weather for PHL as typhoon Bualoi not likely to enter PAR
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience generally good weather aside from isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms on Wednesday, PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.
In its 4 p.m. public weather forecast Tuesday, the weather bureau said there is no expected strong rains to help increase dam water in the country.
Meanwhile, the northeasterly surface windflow is prevailing over Luzon, PAGASA said.
Typhoon Bualoi is not expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), it added.
At 3 pm, the eye of Bualoi was last estimated at 2,390 km east of Northern Luzon, with 165 kilometers per hour of maximum sustained winds and gustiness of up to 205 kph.
The typhoon is moving North-Northwestward at 20 kph.
A shallow low pressure area is expected to form over the Philippine Sea from Tuesday to Friday morning, PAGASA said.
It may dissipate on Thursday or Friday, it added. —Joahna Lei Casilao/LDF, GMA News
