Cloudy skies, light rains in most of Philippines due to northeast monsoon

The northeast monsoon will be affecting the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Aurora, and Quezon  will have cloudy skies with light rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with possible intermittent gusts especially in coastal and mountainous areas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

The forecast wind speed for the whole country is moderate to strong moving in the northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough. — BAP, GMA News
