Amihan to bring cloudy skies, rain across the Philippines —PAGASA

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan is forecast to bring cloudy skies and rain over the Philippines within the next 24 hours, PAGASA said Wednesday afternoon.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said Amihan is currently affecting Northern Luzon.

Cloudy skies with light rains were forecast over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains should be expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The expected weather conditions are not forecast to cause any significant impact on the said areas.

Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms are expected to cast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA advised the public to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. — Julia Mari Ornedo/BM, GMA News
