Cloudy skies, light rains in most of Philippines due to northeast monsoon

The northeast monsoon will continue to affect the country on Saturday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the northeast monsoon.

The forecast wind speed for the entire country is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough. — BAP, GMA News
