Northeast Monsoon to bring light rain across country —PAGASA

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan is expected to bring cloudy skies with light rain over the Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao regions as well as the provinces of Aurora and Quezon on Wednesday, PAGASA said Tuesday.

In its 24-hour weather update, the weather bureau added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain due to the monsoon.

At 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the temperature in Metro Manila dropped to 19.8°C and peaked at 30.2°C at 1:50 p.m.

Due to strong to gale force winds, gale warnings are raised over the northern and eastern coasts of Catanduanes, the eastern coast of Sorsogon, the northern and eastern coasts of Northern Samar, the eastern coast of Eastern Samar, Siargao, Surigao del Sur, and the eastern coast of Davao Oriental.

PAGASA advised against sea travel for small vessels due to expected rough to very rough sea conditions. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
