Northeast Monsoon to bring light rains over Luzon


The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Luzon on Tuesday and will bring light rains over several areas, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Central Luzon, Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of Luzon meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

As for Visayas and Mindanao, these areas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. 

Flash floods or landslides may be possible during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough over the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, with waves reaching as high as 4 meters.

For the rest of the country, coastal waters will also be moderate to rough, with waves reaching 3.1 meters high.
