Amihan to bring light rains over parts of Luzon
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Luzon on Monday and is expected to bring light rains over some areas, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
As for Visayas and Mindanao, these areas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned residents of possible flash floods or landslides during times of severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be rough over the seaboards in the eastern section of the country and the rest of Northern Luzon. These areas will have waves reaching as tall as 4 meters.
For the rest of the country, coastal waters will be moderate to rough, with wave heights reaching as much as 3.1 meters.
