Easterlies to bring rainshowers, thunderstorms to Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon
The easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms, the weather bureau warned.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. PAGASA also warned that in these areas, flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast in the eastern section of the country is strong and moving to the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be rough.
In the extreme Northern Luzon, the forecast wind speed is moderate to strong moving eastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The wind speed for rest of the country will be moderate to strong moving east to northeastward while coastal waters will remain moderate to rough. — BAP, GMA News
