Cloudy skies, isolated rains in many parts of the country due to easterlies

The easterlies affecting the eastern section of the country on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies.

The Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms also due to the easterlies. The weather bureau warns though that flash floods or landslides may occur in these regions during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed for the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao is strong while moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be rough.

For the rest of the country, forecast wind speed is moderate to strong moving in the east to northeast direction as coastal waters will remain moderate to rough. — BAP, GMA News
