Amihan to bring light rains over Extreme Northern Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Extreme Northern Luzon on Wednesday and will bring cloudy skies and light rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the easterlies or the winds from the east.

Meanwhile, Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, also due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be rough in Extreme Northern Luzon, with waves reaching as high as 4 meters.

In the eastern section of the country, coastal waters will be moderate to strong with wave heights reaching 2.8 meters.

Meanwhile, in the rest of the country, coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
