Cloudy skies, isolated rains over Metro Manila due to the easterlies
The northeast monsoon will be affecting northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
The regions of Caraga and Davao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm due to the easterlies. The weather bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to scattered moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains northeast monsoon.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms / easterlies and that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The forecast wind speed in the northern and eastern sections of the country is moderate and moving in the northeastern to eastern direction while coastal waters will be moderate.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the eastern to northeastern direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate. -- BAP, GMA News
