Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, isolated rains to the Philippines

The easterlies will continue to affect the eastern section of the country on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies. The weather bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed for the whole archipelago is light to moderate and moving east to northeast while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. -- BAP, GMA News
