PAGASA forecasts isolated rains, thunderstorms in parts of southern Mindanao on Sunday
The trough of a low-pressure area is expected to bring cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Davao, South Cotabato, and Sarangani on Sunday, PAGASA said Saturday.
In its 24 hour forecast, the weather bureau warned affected residents against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the Northeasterly Surface Windflow may bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands.
According to PAGASA, it has no significant effect on the country.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers may meanwhile prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods and landslides were also possible, according to PAGASA.
