Cloudy, isolated rains forecast for most of the Philippines due to the easterlies

The ridge of a High Pressure Area (HPA) is expected to extend over northern Luzon while the easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the eastern section of Northern Luzon is light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

For the rest of the country, the forecast wind speed is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while the coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.

On Tuesday, the weather bureau recorded a high temperature at 35.8 degrees Celsius by 3:10 pm while the lowest temperature was recorded at 6:20 am. with 26.1 degrees Celsius. -- BAP, GMA News
