Red rainfall warning lowered; orange raised over Nueva Ecija, Tarlac
PAGASA raised an orange rainfall warning over Nueva Ecija and Tarlac due to Severe Tropical Storm Ambo.
According to the weather agency, flooding was "threatening" in low-lying areas and near river channels.
Meanwhile, a yellow rainfall warning has been raised over Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Pampanga, and Quezon (General Nakar, Polillo, Real, Infanta).
Under this alert, flooding was possible in areas prone to it.

According to PAGASA, light to moderate rains prevailing over Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and the rest of Quezon may persist within two to three hours and affect nearby areas.
