Easterlies, localized thunderstorms to bring isolated rainshowers over Philippines
Easterlies, or winds coming from the east, and localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said Tuesday afternoon.
In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the temperature recorded at the Science Garden, Quezon City dropped to 26°C at 6 a.m. and peaked at 34.6°C at 1:50 p.m.

PAGASA also warned of moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds over Tarlac, Bulacan, and Laguna within the next two hours.
As of posting time, the same conditions are being experienced in Bataan, Zambales, Pampanga, Tarlac, Quezon, Cavite, and Batangas, which may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas.
Specific areas affected are: Balanga, Abucay, Limay, Mariveles, Castillejos, Botolan, San Marcelino, Mabalacat, Bamban, Alabat, and Tagaytay.
Thunderstorms in other areas are now eliminated.
PAGASA advised affected residents to take precautionary measures against flash floods or landslides. —LDF, GMA News
