Cordillera, Cagayan, Ilocos provinces will have isolated rains, thunderstorms due to frontal system


A frontal system will be affecting extreme northern Luzon while the southwesterly windflow will be affecting the rest of northern Luzon on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

The Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Cagayan Valley Region, and the provinces of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur will have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the frontal System and/or southwesterly windflow.

The weather bureau adds that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is light to moderate moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be light to moderate.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving southeastward to variable direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
