Day's highest heat index recorded in 3 cities at 47°C
Butuan City, Dagupan City, and Roxas City on Tuesday reported the day's highest heat index or human-perceived temperature at 47°C, according to PAGASA.
This is followed by Sangley Point, Cavite City with 45°C and Calapan City, Dipolog City, and the Science City of Munoz which all reported a heat index of 44°C.
PAGASA said that heat cramps and heat exhaustion is possible and may lead to heat stroke amid continued physical activity.

Meanwhile, the Science Garden, Quezon City reported a heat index of 41°C at 2 p.m.
A maximum temperature of 33°C was also recorded at the same time.
