Moderate to heavy rains over Laguna, Central Luzon

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Laguna for one to two hours on Monday, PAGASA said Monday.

In its 9:35 p.m. thunderstorm advisory, the weather bureau said heavy to intense rain showers with lightning and strong winds, meanwhile, are being experienced in the following areas:

• Tarlac (Capas, Bamban)
• Pampanga (Mabalacat, Mgalang, Porac, Angeles City, Floridablanca)
• Zambales (San Marcelino, San Felipe, Castillejos, San Antonio, Subic, Botolan)
• Quezon (Tayabas, Lucban)

PAGASA said the conditions may persist within one to two hours and may affect nearby areas as well.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said. -Ma. Angelica Garcia/NB, GMA News
