Yellow warning raised over several areas in Zambales
PAGASA on Friday afternoon raised a yellow rainfall alert over Zambales due to Tropical Depression Butchoy and the southwest monsoon.
In its 4:30 p.m. advisory, PAGASA warned residents of Santa Cruz, Candelaria, Masinloc, Palauig, Iba, and Botolan of possible flooding in low-lying areas and near river channels.
Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are expected over Metro Manila, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Rizal within the next two to three hours.
As of posting time, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are affecting Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, Bataan, Tarlac, and the rest of Zambales which may persist within two to three hours and affect nearby areas.
