ITCZ to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains, thunderstorms in Visayas, Caraga


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Visayas and Mindanao. on Thursday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Visayas and Caraga will be cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides occurring due to scattered moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms also due to the ITCZ. Flash floods or landslides may occur due to scattered moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorm and flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast in Luzon is light moving in the southeast to southward direction while coastal waters will be slight.

For the rest of the country the wind speed is light moving in the southeast to variable while coastal waters will be slight.
