Rainshowers expected over Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Batangas

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Nueva Ecija, Zambales and Batangas within the next two hours, according to PAGASA on Wednesday afternoon.

In its 3:32 p.m. thunderstorm advisory, the weather agency said the same conditions are being experienced the following areas:

• Metro Manila (Quezon City, Marikina)
• Rizal (San Mateo, Rodriguez)
• Bulacan (Norzagaray, Doña Remedios Trinidad, San Ildefonso, San Miguel, Baliuag, Pulilan, Plaridel)
• Cavite (Dasmariñas, Silang, General Trias, Trece Martires, Rosario, Tanza, Noveleta)
• Tarlac (Capas, Bamban)
• Pampanga (Mabalacat)
• Quezon (Calauag)
• Laguna (San Pablo, Calauan)

PAGASA said the conditions may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas as well.

The weather bureau also advised affected residents to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides. —LDF, GMA News
