Southwest monsoon to bring rainshowers, thunderstorms over Ilocos, Zambales
The southwest monsoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms over the Ilocos Region and Zambales on Wednesday, PAGASA said Tuesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
PAGASA said the monsoon is affecting the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms may prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the southwest monsoon or localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods and landslides are also possible, the agency said.
The PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Quezon City, meanwhile, recorded a minimum temperature of 25.4°C at 6 a.m. and 33°C at 1:50 p.m. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
