ITCZ to bring rainshowers, thunderstorms over Southern Mindanao
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Caraga, Davao region, and SOCCSKSARGEN, PAGASA said Thursday.
In ita 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, mostly in the afternoon or evening, may also prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the synoptic station at the Science Garden, Quezon City reported a minimum temperature of 25.1°C at 5:40 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 33.5°C at 1:30 p.m.

According to PAGASA, moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Metro Manila, Laguna, Batangas, Bulacan, and Nueva Ecija within the next two hours.
As of posting time, heavy to intense rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are currently being experienced in Zambales, Cavite, Quezon, and Tarlac, which may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.
Specific areas affected are: Candelaria, Santa Cruz, Trece Martires, Tanza, Maragondon, General Trias, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Naic, Calauag, Lopez, Tagkawayan, Guinayangan, Catanauan, Gumaca, and Camiling.
Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides. —LDF, GMA News
