Southern Mindanao will be cloudy with scattered rains due to ITCZ
An Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Southern Mindanao on Saturday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato, Sarangani, General Santos City, and Davao Occidental will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to at times heavy rainshowers.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers mostly in the afternoon or evening due to localized thunderstorms. The weather bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast in the western section of Luzon is light to moderate moving in the southwest to south direction while coastal waters is slight to moderate.
For the rest of Luzon wind speed is light to moderate moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
In the Visayas and Mindanao, wind speed is light moving in the southeast to a variable direction as coastal waters will remain slight.
