ITCZ to bring rains over Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Zamboanga, Palawan
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the area where winds from the northern and southern hemisphere meet, is affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
The Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Zamboanga Peninsula and Palawan will have cloudy skies, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the ITCZ, easterlies and localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly happen during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
