Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Aurora, Quezon will be cloudy with scattered to widespread rains due to the LPA


The Low Pressure Area (LPA) early Wednesday morning  was estimated at 115 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte, PAGASA reported.

Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA. Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas, the weather bureau warned, due to moderate to occasional heavy rains.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and the rest of Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the LPA and flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. PAGASA also reported that flash floods or landslides may occur int he region during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the southwest to west direction while coastal waters were slight to moderate.

For the rest of Luzon, the wind speed is light to moderate moving in the northeast to northwest direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
