LPA to bring rainshowers, thunderstorms over Mindanao, E. Visayas, Bicol Region
The trough of a low pressure area (LPA) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, and the Bicol Region, PAGASA said Tuesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
At 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the LPA was estimated at 210 kilometers southeast of Davao City.
Localized thunderstorms may meanwhile bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Flash floods and landslides are also possible.
