Yellow rainfall warning up over Occidental Mindoro

PAGASA issued a yellow rainfall warning over Occidental Mindoro at 5:03 a.m. on Sunday as the southwest monsoon (habagat) is expected to bring heavy rains.

Under PAGASA's rainfall warning system, a yellow alert means 7.5 to 15 mm of heavy rain may be observed in one hour and may continue in the next two hours.

Flooding may be possible.

Residents were advised to monitor the weather condition.

The monsoon is being enhanced by Tropical Storm Enteng and a low pressure area located west of Zambales. —KG, GMA News
